As a business Human RoomsTM offers three specific services:
Project development – Efterpi and her creative team will work with you to create a site specific room, waiting area or patient focused area in your facility.
Following in-depth consultations and discussion with clients, Efterpi will develop a plan/schedule is designed according to your site’s needs and procedures.
Services and facilities that will benefit from installing a Human Room include: palliative care units, aged care facilities, children’s hospitals, mental health facilities and cancer centres.
Consultancy - Efterpi will consultant with you on interior environment and the types sensory elements patients will require to alleviate agitation anxiety, fear and depression related to their condition.
Efterpi also uses, “Snoezelen” in her practice; a therapy that uses lighting effects, sound, tactile furnishings and interactive material to reduce frustration and anger.
She will also assist you with patient referral and assessment procedures using either Snoezelen or specific sensory applications developed by Human RoomsTM.
Systems - Human RoomsTM has developed a system that can be installed in patient rooms and common areas of hospitals, aged care facilities, cancer centres and any other public amenities where stress and anxiety may be experienced including schools and workplaces.
The system installation includes film, sound and lighting techniques developed by Efterpi and the creative and technical staff who work with her.
