About Ben Cisterne

Benjamin Cisterne is part of the team at Bluebottle 3 Pty Ltd (t/a Bluebottle) based in Melbourne Australia. Bluebottle has a strong background in theatrical lighting and management which provides us with a diverse range of experience in dealing with client requirements, budgets, locations, materials and unusual situations.

We have been designing light in creative and unconventional ways for over ten years in theatre, galleries, installations, architecture, exhibitions and music. We are interested in extending the possibilities of lighting design and the integration of light and the surrounding environment.

As a team we are complimentary, a balance of depth with practical and creative expertise combined with the easy enjoyment of a working relationship fuelled through a 10+ year partnership. We move and adapt easily between worlds and projects, which range from the small individual requirements to the large scale, from theatre to corporate. We possess an extensive array of established working relationships Australia wide, be they artistic, production, administrative, local government, festivals and suppliers.
